How to get support about PIPS: contacts, mailing-lists, IRC, etc.
Mailing lists:
There are several mailing lists available to participate to PIPS:
- User support: pips-support[at]cri.mines-paristech.fr
- Developer discussions: "pipsdev at cri dot ensmp dot fr" is the main mailing list for everyone intested by PIPS;
- "pips-commit at cri dot ensmp dot fr" is the mailing list to follow the PIPS SVN;
- there is also a mailing list related to the Trac bug-tracker.
To get involved in them, ask Fabien Coelho to be added. If you are in the Par4All and HPC Project influence sphere, ask Ronan Keryell to be added to the HPC- Project side of the mailing lists.
Instant Messaging with IRC:
For interactive discussions and support, there is a #pips IRC channel on FreeNode (look at http://freenode.net for more information to begin with if you are unfamiliar). Welcome into our crazy channel at irc://irc.freenode.net/pips
Many PIPS developers use the xchat IRC client but there are many others.

Professional support
PIPS is a key component of the Par4All infrastructure that is supported by the HPC Projectcompany. By a side effect, HPC Project does also offer professional support and training on PIPS.
