User interfaces
Since there used to be an Emacs-based interface for PIPS, it may not be too hard to have it to run again. The main issue is that it was based on the XView interface for PIPS that rely on this obsolete X11 toolkit...
Integrate PIPS as a plug-in in the Eclipse framework.
NewGen
Add XML support for object serialization. Not necessary but good to communicate about PIPS :-) and also to to do easy hack on the AST/RI or interface with other tools.
