- Duong Nguyen Que defended successfully, but in French, his PhD dissertation about polyhedral operators on November 26, 2010. His slides are or will be available at http://www.cri.ensmp.fr/classement/2010.html

- PIPS is developed by people from different institutions, working in different places, using e-mail and collaborative software to work together. October 25 was a full day together in Paris, to meet people working away and to share information about the current developments. 13 presentations were given about PIPS, PyPS and Par4All and their use.
- Loop fusion
- An experimental loop fusion pass has been added to PIPS. It is being developed by Mehdi Amini. It can be used in conjunction with loop unrolling to unroll-and-jam loops.
