Terapix Code Generation
Terapix is a SIMD processor designed for image processing. Its first version contains 128 processing units with local and shared memory. It is controlled by a host processor and it is implemented in a FPGA.
Many transformations and analyses of PIPS are used to generate assembly code for Terapix SIMD unit and C code for the host from application C source files.
This work is funded by the FREIA project.
