The HiPEAC conference provides a forum for experts in computer architecture,
programming models, compilers and operating systems for embedded and
general-purpose systems. We especially encourage papers describing either
cross-cutting research (embedded/high performance, architecture/software
stack,  etc) or innovative ideas (new programming models, novel
architecture approaches to cope with technology constraints or new
technologies, etc).

Abstracts due: Thursday, 20 May 2010
Papers due:    Thursday, 27 May 2010 (conf. format, two columns, 10 pages)
Notification:  Wednesday,21 July 2010
Final paper due: Thursday, 30 September 2010

See http://www.hipeac.net/hipeac2011 for more information on submission
format. All submissions will be made electronically and no extension will
be granted.

Call for HiPEAC'11 Workshops and Tutorials
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
===============================================================================

Deadlines: May 1, 2010 for submission, May 15 for notification of
acceptance.

The 6th HiPEAC Conference (HiPEAC'11) solicits proposals for workshops and
tutorials to be organized in conjunction with the main conference. We
welcome proposals on topics related to all aspects of research and
development in the field of computer architecture and compilation for high
performance and embedded systems.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

* Processor and system architecture (multi-core, heterogeneous,
  reconfigurable, memory systems, interconnects, I/O)
* System software (programming models, compilers, runtime environments,
  operating systems, virtualization environments)
* Emerging applications and interaction between applications and systems
* Tools for simulation, measurement, modeling, and analysis of
  high-performance and embedded systems

Please submit your workshop or tutorial proposal in an email to the
workshop and tutorials chairs. Submission deadline is May 1st, 2010 (although
we would appreciate if you could inform about your intent to submit a proposal
as soon as you can).

For workshops, please include concisely the following information in your
proposal, which should not exceed 2 pages:

* Title of the workshop
* Organizers and their affiliations
* Workshop main topics
* Tentative deadlines (for paper submission, decision and camera-ready
  versions)
  Workshop organizers should plan for sending acceptance notifications and
  preparing a preliminary technical program no later than December 1st 2010,
  to allow sufficient time for potential workshop attendees to register in
  advance for the conference and help the conference organizers estimate
  overall workshop and tutorial attendance.
* Expected duration of the workshop; i.e., 1/2 day, full day
* Expected workshop fomat, i.e., keynote+talks+panel, keynote+talks, talks
  only, etc.
* Planned number of papers and attendance (based on historical data or
  experience)
* Event sponsors, if any

For tutorials, please include the following information in your proposal
(no more than 2 pages):
 * Title of the tutorial
 * Organizers, presenters with their affiliations, and brief biographical
   sketches
 * Abstract of the tutorial
 * A list of topics to be covered with some related bibliography
 * Expected duration of the tutorial; i.e., 1/2 day or full day
 * Expected tutorial format. i.e., lectures, or lectures+demo, etc.
 * If the tutorial was previously held, the location (i.e., which
   conference),
   date, and number of attendees in the last tutorial
 * Event sponsors, if any

Proposals should be submitted via e-mail to the HiPEAC'11 Workshops and
Tutorials chairs (hipeac11_wtchairs@ics.forth.gr). For further information,
please contact the chairs Eduard Ayguade and Dimitris Nikolopoulos using
the e-mail address above or visit the conference webpage.
