Euro-Par is an annual series of international conferences dedicated to the
promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel and distributed computing.
Euro-Par focuses on all aspects of hardware, software, algorithms and
applications in this field. The objective of Euro-Par is to provide a forum for
the promotion of parallel and distributed computing both as an industrial
technique and an academic discipline, extending the frontier of both the state
of the art and the state of the practice.

The following topics will be covered by regular Euro-Par 2011 sessions:

1. Support Tools and Environments
2. Performance Prediction and Evaluation
3. Scheduling and load balancing
4. High-Performance Architecture and Compilers
5. Parallel and Distributed Data Management
6. Grid Cluster and Cloud Computing
7. Peer to peer computing
8. Distributed System and Algorithms
9. Parallel and Distributed Programming
10. Parallel Numerical algorithm
11. Multicore and Manycore programming
12. Theory and Algorithms for Parallel Computation
13. High performance network and Communications
14. Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing
15. High Performance and Scientific Applications
16. GPU and Accelerators computing

Full details on the topics, including topic descriptions and chairs, are
available on the Euro-Par 2011 website (europar2011.bordeaux.inria.fr). The
conference will feature tutorials and invited talks. Co-located workshops are
also planned.


**** PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES ****

Full papers should not exceed 12 pages in the Springer LNCS style. Paper
submission has to be performed electronically via the conference website in PDF
format. Papers accepted for publication must also be supplied in source form
(LaTeX or Word).

Papers must offer original contributions regarding the theory and practice of
parallel and distributed computing. Full submission guidelines are available on
the conference website. Only contributions not submitted elsewhere for
publication will be considered.

Authors must submit their papers to the specific topic they judge most
appropriate. Details on the topics, including descriptions and chairs, are
available on the conference website.

All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, published by
Springer in the LNCS series. Authors of accepted papers will be requested to
sign a Springer copyright form.

**** CALL FOR ADDITIONAL CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS ****

Euro-Par 2011 will feature a series of satellite workshops on August 29-30.

Proposals for workshops, covering a specific theme and lasting between half a
day and a full day, are encouraged and solicited until February 27.  Workshop
proceedings will be published in a separate LNCS Euro-Par 2011 workshop volume
after the conference. The principal coordinator of each workshop will appear as
editor of the workshop volume.

website (http://europar2011.bordeaux.inria.fr).


**** VENUE **** 

Euro-Par 2011 is organized by National Institute for Research in Computer
Science and Control (INRIA), the University of Bordeaux I and the French
National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).

The Euro-Par 2011 conference will be held on the campus of Bordeaux II
University, Place de la Victoire, in the center of Bordeaux.

Bordeaux is the largest city of the Aquitaine Region in South-West of France. It
is known worldwide for its wineyards, chateaux, gastonomy and historical places.

Traveling to Bordeaux is very easy. Bordeaux hosts an international airport with
connections to major cities in Europe (such as Rome, Amsterdam, London, Madrid,
Dublin or Stockholm) as well as Paris and other cities in France.  It is also
directly connected to Paris by the high-speed TGV train.
