15-17 February 2012,
Garching near Munich, Germany

We invite you to consider submitting papers to the 20th Euromicro
International Conference on Parallel, Distributed, and Network-
Based Processing PDP 2012 that will be held at the Leibniz Super-
computing Centre, Garching near Munich, Germany from 15th to 17th
of February, 2012.

Parallel, Distributed, and Network-Based Processing has undergone
impressive change over recent years. New architectures and appli-
cations have rapidly become the central focus of the discipline.
These changes are often a result of cross-fertilisation of paral-
lel and distributed technologies with other rapidly evolving
technologies. It is of paramount importance to review and assess
these new developments in comparison with recent research
achievements in the well-established areas of parallel and dis-
tributed computing, from industry and the scientific community.

The PDP 2012 aims to provide a forum for the presentation of
these and other issues through original research presentations
and to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and new ideas at the
highest technical level. Topics of interest include, but are not
restricted to:

- PARALLEL COMPUTING
- DISTRIBUTED AND NETWORK-BASED COMPUTING
- DATA INTENSIVE COMPUTING
- MODELS AND TOOLS
- SYSTEMS AND ARCHITECTURES
- ADVANCEdD ALGORITHMS AND APPLICAIONS

Please find more details on our web site www.pdp2012.org.

Paper Submission

Papers can be submitted to the conference main track or to Spe-
cial Sessions through the EasyChair conference submission system
http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pdp2012 with an indi-
cation of the main track or the name of the Special Session. Pa-
pers will undergo a blind peer review process.
Prospective authors should submit a full paper not exceeding 5000
words in length and including a 150-200 word abstract. To facili-
tate an anonymous reviewing process, the first page of the paper
should contain only the title and abstract. Moreover, the names
of the authors of the paper must not appear in citations in the
reference section.
All accepted papers will be included in the same volume, pub-
lished by the IEEE Computer Society's Conference Publishing Ser-
vices (CPS). The Final Paper Preparation and Submission Instruc-
tions will be published after the notification of acceptance.
Authors of accepted papers are expected to register and to
present the paper at the Workshop.
